When
Mr. David Bahlman, of the Landmarks Preservation Council of Illinois, gave his
presentation to The Park residents in January 2003, some of the landowners indicated that
no matter what size their lot was, they were only allowed to build one building per lot and
could not subdivide.

Ms. Wiseman reminded Commissioners of what she stated at the last HPC meeting was
that construction is governed by the zoning district in which the lot is located, minimum lot
area, and minimum lot width. Some of those lots don't equal the minimum lot width. Each
situation would have to be evaluated on a case by case basis and evaluated based on the
Zoning Ordinance.

Commissioner Morrison said there are a number of instances in The Park area where there
are more than one dwelling unit on a lot. Ms. Wiseman said the buildings are allowed to
continue to exist if they exist presently.

Page four, first paragraph, seventh line down, correct spelling is "Bert".
