FINAL <br /> <br /> MINUTES <br />GLENVIEW HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION <br />March 14, 2005 <br /> <br />Call to Order by the Chairman <br />The March 14, 2005, meeting of the Glenview Historic Preservation Commission was <br />called to order by Chairman Silver at 7:35 p.m. in the Lunch Room of the Village Hall. <br /> <br />Roll Call and Declaration of a Quorum <br />Roll call was taken, and Chairman Silver noted that a quorum was present. <br /> <br />PRESENT: <br /> <br />Commissioners Conway, Kramer, Pappas, Wendy, <br />and Chairman Silver <br /> <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Commissioners Dawson and Morrison <br /> <br />ALSO PRESENT: Helen Wiseman, Licensed Architect and Staff Liaison <br /> <br />Approval of Minutes <br />Chairman Silver asked for corrections or comments to the February 14, 2005 minutes of the <br />Historic Preservation Commission meeting. There were no corrections. <br /> <br />Commissioner Kramer moved to approve the February 14, 2005 minutes. Commissioner <br />Wendy seconded the motion. Upon voice vote the motion carried 5-0. <br /> <br />General Communications <br />Ms. Wiseman distributed a copy of the letter which reflected IHPA's approval of the <br />Commission's annual report. <br /> <br />Chairman Silver said the landmark recommendation that was passed at the February 14, <br />2005 HPC meeting will tentatively be presented at the Board of Trustee's meeting on <br />March 15, 2005. Chairman Silver will attend that meeting in order to answer any questions <br />that may arise. <br /> <br />Old Business <br />5.a. Update on Glenview Historic Preservation Handout Draft <br />Commissioner Wendy is working on a draft which he would like to present to the <br />Commission for review in early May. An emphasis will be placed on the financial aspect. <br />Chairman Silver offered to meet with Commissioner Wendy and Ms. Wiseman to work on <br />the draft. A copy will be sent to Ms. Wiseman so that it can be included in the HPC <br />meeting packet. <br /> <br /> <br />
