FINAL <br />MINUTES <br />GLENVIEW HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION <br />June 13, 2005 <br />Call to Order by the Chairman <br />The June 13, 2005, meeting of the Glenview Historic Preservation Commission was called to <br />order by Chairman Silver at 7:32 p.m. in the Lunch Room of the Village Hall. <br />Roll Call and Declaration of a Quorum <br />Roll call was taken, and Chairman Silver noted that a quorum was present. <br />PRESENT: Commissioners Conway, Dawson, Kramer, Pappas, Wendy <br />and Chairman Silver; <br />ABSENT: Commissioner Morrison <br />ALSO PRESENT: Ms. Lisa Porter, Staff Liaison <br />Approval of Minutes <br />Chairman Silver asked for corrections or comments to the May 9, 2005 minutes of the <br />Historic Preservation Commission meeting. <br />Page three, third paragraph, second line "...Ice Cream Social which is on July 3." <br />Page three, third paragraph, si�th line ". .. be ready for the July 3 ceremony date." <br />Commissioner Kramer moved to approve the May 9, 2005 minutes as amended. <br />Commissioner Dawson seconded the motion. Upon voice vote the motion carried 5-0. <br />General Communications <br />Ms. Porter reported that in June's Village Newsletter there was an article about the landmark <br />plaque ceremony. Also, Ms. Janet Spector-Bishop sent a news release to local newspapers <br />about the plaque ceremony. Ms. Porter brought a copy of the general information requested <br />for all Glenview commissions. <br />Pending Business <br />5.a. Discuss Progress on Landmark Designation Plaques <br />Commissioner Pappas will find out if the plaque for 1930 Prairie will be ready by <br />Wednesday, June 22. Commissioner Pappas will e-mail Commissioners when he learns the <br />ready date. The mailbox on the Historical Society building has been relocated in preparation <br />for the plaque installation. <br />Commissioner Dawson conveyed compliments of the Glenview Historical Society to <br />Commissioner Pappas' work on the design of the plaque. <br />
