FINAL <br /> <br /> MINUTES <br />GLENVIEW HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION <br />July 11, 2005 <br /> <br />Call to Order by the Chairman <br />The July 13, 2005, meeting of the Glenview Historic Preservation Commission was called to <br />order by Chairman Silver at 7:30 p.m. in the Lunch Room of the Village Hall. <br /> <br />Roll Call and Declaration of a Quorum <br />Roll call was taken, and Chairman Silver noted that a quorum was present. <br /> <br />PRESENT: <br /> <br />Commissioners Dawson, Kramer, Wendy and Chairman Silver <br /> <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Commissioners Conway and Pappas <br /> <br />ALSO PRESENT: Ms. Lisa Porter, Staff Liaison <br /> <br />Approval of Minutes <br />Chairman Silver asked for corrections or comments to the June 13, <br />Historic Preservation Commission meeting. <br /> <br />2005 minutes of the <br /> <br />Page one, paragraph 5.a., last sentence should read, "The mailbox on the Historical Society <br />building has been relocated in preparation for the plaque installation." <br /> <br />Page two, third paragraph, third line "... Kerry Cummings .... Nancy Firfer ..." <br /> <br />Page four, second paragraph, sixth line, "... A presentation of the exhibit will given in June <br />and another in the Fall by Commissioner Dawson and others." <br /> <br />Commissioner Kramer moved to approve the June 13, 2005 minutes as amended. <br />Commissioner Dawson seconded the motion. Upon voice vote the motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />General Communications <br />None. <br /> <br />Pending Business <br />5.a. Discuss Status of Landmark Designation Plaques <br />Neither of the designation final plaques was available for either ceremony. <br />indication of when the plaques would be finished at the foundry. <br /> <br />There is no <br /> <br />5.b. Report on Ceremonies of June 22 and July 3, 2005 <br />Chairman Silver reported that both ceremonies for landmark designation went well and have <br />been aired on GVTV. The Historical Society ceremony supported with good attendance, <br /> <br /> <br />
