FINAL <br /> <br /> MINUTES <br />GLENVIEW HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION <br />November 14, 2005 <br /> <br />Call to Order by the Chairman <br />The November 14, 2005, meeting of the Glenview Historic Preservation Commission was <br />called to order by Chairman Silver at 7:30 p.m. in the Lunch Room of the Village Hall. <br /> <br />Roll Call and Declaration of a Quorum <br />Roll call was taken, and Chairman Silver noted that a quorum was present. <br /> <br />PRESENT: <br /> <br />Commissioners Conway, Dawson, Kramer, Pappas, Wendy and <br />Chairman Silver <br /> <br />ALSO PRESENT: Ms. Lisa Porter, Staff Liaison <br /> <br />Approval of Minutes <br />Chairman Silver asked for corrections or comments to Minutes of the Historic Preservation <br />Commission meeting of October 24, 2005. There were no corrections. <br /> <br />Commissioner Conway moved to approve the October 24, 2005 Minutes. Commissioner <br />Wendy seconded the motion. Upon voice vote the motion carried 5-0. <br /> <br />General Communications <br />Ms. Porter showed to Commissioners an informational letter [not mailed] written by Ms. <br />Vicki Granacki for residents in the survey area should they have questions regarding the <br />consultant's presence in the neighborhood. The content of the letter referred to the <br />surveyor's purpose in their neighborhood. <br /> <br />Commissioners' comments about the letter: <br /> <br />· bullet point format would be easier to read. <br /> <br />· delete the last line of the second paragraph. <br /> <br /> · in the third paragraph, replace the sentence "The information to get compiled ..." <br />with "The information gathered could help property owners who are interested in <br />landmarking." <br /> <br /> · the last sentence should be the first bullet point: <br /> "The approximate duration of field survey work will <br />December, 2005." <br /> <br />be from November to <br /> <br /> <br />
