FINAL <br /> <br /> MINUTES <br />GLENVIEW HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION <br />October 24, 2005 <br /> <br />Call to Order by the Chairman <br />The October 24, 2005, meeting of the Glenview Historic Preservation Commission was <br />called to order by Chairman Silver at 7:39 p.m. in the Lunch Room of the Village Hall. <br /> <br />Roll Call and Declaration of a Quorum <br />Roll call was taken, and Chairman Silver noted that a quorum was present. <br /> <br />PRESENT: <br /> <br />Commissioners Conway, Kramer, Pappas, Wendy and <br />Chairman Silver <br /> <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Commissioner Dawson <br /> <br />ALSO PRESENT: Ms. Lisa Porter, Staff Liaison <br /> <br />Approval of Minutes <br />Chairman Silver asked for corrections or comments to Minutes of the Historic Preservation <br />Commission meeting of September 26, 2005. There were no corrections. <br /> <br />Commissioner Kramer moved to approve the September 26, 2005 Minutes. Commissioner <br />Pappas seconded the motion. Upon voice vote the motion carried 4-0. <br /> <br />General Communications <br />Commissioner Conway arrived. <br /> <br />Chairman Silver attended the September, 2005 Downtown Planning Commission (DPC) <br />meeting and suggested to them that the Historic Preservation Commission (HPC) would <br />welcome the opportunity to work together on potential historic sites. Chairman Silver also <br />forwarded to the DPC copies of selected pages of 1999 McGuire report which lists potential <br />properties for historic preservation landmarking. <br /> <br />Pending Business <br />5.a. Discussion of the Glenview Preservation Handout Final Draft <br />Chairman Silver reported that there has been a change on the Village website which <br />facilitates finding the HPC's ordinance. <br /> <br />There is a correction on the first page of the Handbook, under Introduction, fourth paragraph, <br />Ms. Porter's telephone number should be 847-904-4307. <br /> <br /> <br />
