FINAL MINUTES GLENVIEW HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION February 13, 2006 Call to Order by the Chairman The February 13, 2006, meeting of the Glenview Historic Preservation Commission was called to order by Chairman Silver at 7:30 p.m. in the Lunch Room of the Village Hall. Roll Call and Declaration of a Quorum Roll call was taken, and Chairman Silver noted that a quorum was present. PRESENT: Commissioners Dawson, Kramer, Pappas, Wendy and Chairman Silver ABSENT: Commissioner Conway GUEST: Ms. Vicki Granacki, Granacki Historic Consultants ALSO PRESENT: Ms. Lisa Porter, Staff Liaison Approval of Minutes Chairman Silver asked for corrections or comments to Minutes of the Historic Preservation Commission meeting of January 9, 2006. There were no corrections. Commissioner Pappas moved to approve the January 9, 2006 Minutes. Commissioner Kramer seconded the motion. Upon voice vote the motion carried 4-0. General Communications Chairman Silver distributed an announcement that the statewide Preservation Conference will be held June 8-10, 2006 in Bloomington/Normal, Illinois. If Commissioners are interested in attending, they should contact Ms. Porter for registration. Pending Business 5.a. Grant Survey Results (presentation by Ms. Vicki Granacki, of Granacki Historic Consultants, with additional handouts provided at the meeting) Chairman Silver reminded Commissioners of the discussion regarding the Granacki Historic Consultants (GHC) survey results that took place at the previous HPC meeting. Ms. Vicki Granacki attended this evening’s meeting to clarify any remaining questions. Ms. Granacki began by explaining that many of the questions asked at the January HPC meeting will be addressed in the final report.
