<br />FINAL <br /> <br />MINUTES <br />GLENVIEW HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION <br />March 13, 2006 <br /> <br /> <br />Call to Order by the Chairman <br />The March 13, 2006, meeting of the Glenview Historic Preservation Commission was called <br />to order by Chairman Silver at 7:40 p.m. in the Lunch Room of the Village Hall. <br /> <br />Roll Call and Declaration of a Quorum <br />Roll call was taken, and Chairman Silver noted that a quorum was present. <br /> <br />PRESENT: Commissioners Kramer, Pappas, Wendy and Chairman Silver <br /> <br />ABSENT: Commissioners Conway and Dawson <br /> <br />ALSO PRESENT: Ms. Lisa Porter, Staff Liaison <br /> <br />Approval of Minutes <br />Chairman Silver asked for corrections or comments to Minutes of the Historic Preservation <br />Commission meeting of February 13, 2006. <br /> <br />Page one, first paragraph, second line should read “… at 7:30 p.m. …” <br /> <br />Commissioner Kramer moved to approve the February 13, 2006 Minutes as corrected. <br />Commissioner Pappas seconded the motion. Upon voice vote the motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />General Communications <br /> <br />Chairman Silver encouraged Commissioners to attend the statewide Preservation Conference <br />held June 8-10, 2006 in Bloomington/Normal, Illinois. <br /> <br />Pending Business <br /> <br />5.a. Grant Survey Handouts Provided at the Last Meeting <br /> <br />Commissioners had no additional comments regarding the grant survey. Chairman Silver <br />will forward to Ms. Granacki the names of early Glenview residents who lived in homes <br />mentioned on the Sanger List. Commissioner Dawson also e-mailed comments to Ms. <br />Granacki on the Ward home and the old Swain Nelson Headquarters. <br /> <br />5.b. May, 2006 Workshop <br /> <br />Ms. Porter determined that May 13, 2006 was the best day to hold the HPC Workshop <br />according to the Commissioners’ responses to her e-mail. <br /> <br />Commissioner Kramer moved to hold the Historic Preservation Commission Workshop held <br />on Saturday, May 13, 2006. Commissioner Pappas seconded the motion. Upon voice vote <br />the motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />
