<br />FINAL <br />MINUTES <br />GLENVIEW HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION <br />February 11, 2008 <br />Call to Order by the Chairman <br />The February 11, 2008 meeting of the Glenview Historic Preservation Commission was <br />called to order by Chairman Silver at 7:30 p.m. in the Lunch Room of the Village Hall. <br />Roll Call and Declaration of a Quorum <br />Roll call was taken and Chairman Silver noted that a quorum was present. <br />PRESENT: Chairman Silver, Commissioners Conway, Dawson, Pappas, Siegel <br />and <br />ABSENT: Commissioner Kramer <br />GUEST: Ms. Vicki Granacki, Granacki Historic Consultants <br /> Ms. Lara Ramsey, Granacki Historic Consultants <br /> Mr. Mark Gadaczech, Lake Forest College Student <br /> Mr. Joseph Gadaczech, (Mark’s brother) <br />ALSO PRESENT: Ms. Lisa Porter, Staff Liaison <br />Ms. Sarah Ciampi <br />Approval of Minutes <br />Chairman Silver asked for corrections or comments to Minutes of the Historic Preservation <br />Commission meeting of December 10, 2007. <br />Page two, second paragraph, heading should be “… Glenview Public Library.” <br />Page two, third paragraph, tenth line should be “… photographs from the 1880’s.” <br />Page three, sixth paragraph, fifth line should be “… Mr. Danny Aucunas, …” <br />Page three, seventh paragraph, first line should be “ … Mr. Ray Kuhn, …” <br />Commissioner Dawson moved to approve the December 10, 2007 Minutes as amended. <br />Commissioner Siegel seconded the motion. Upon voice vote the motion carried. <br />General Communications <br />Ms. Porter distributed information about an upcoming workshop on old windows sponsored <br />by the Plainfield and Will County Historic Preservation Commissions on Saturday morning, <br />March 8 in Plainfield. Speakers will be Mr. Vincent Michael, School of the Art Institute of <br />Chicago, and Ms. Sharon Roscher, Sales Representative for Marvin Windows. Also, the <br /> <br />
