Ms. Wiseman responded
that it wasn't necessary to sign again.
· Page 3 - Third paragraph should read: 'Ms. Wiseman stated that she contacted the
Illinois Historic Preservation Agency to see if Glenview would be eligible for a grant
if they were not certified as a local government. The response was "No" but with
qualification. Because Ms. Wiseman mentioned to the IHPA contact that Glenview
had already had a downtown survey conducted, the IHPA contact stated that
"Glenview is on its way. Glenview should not get stuck on the survey and should not
hesitate to submit for certification. She also stated that in the submittal, Glenview
should state that if we are granted Certified Local Government, we would also like to
use further grants to complete future surveys."
· Page 6 - Motion to request budget monies to be developed by staff to conduct a
survey was voted upon and passed.
· Page 7 - Information for the Grove Fest was not posted in the Village Newsletter
because the deadline for submittal had passed.

Commissioner Kramer made a motion to accept the August 13,2001, minutes as revised.
Commissioner Neymark seconded the motion.
