GLENVIEW HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION <br /> MARCH 10, 2003 ~ <br /> <br />The March 10, 2003, meeting of the Glenview Historic Preservation Commission was called to <br />order by Chairman Silver at 7:35 PM in the Board Room of the Village Hall. Roll call was <br />taken, and Chairman Silver noted that a quorum was present. <br /> <br />PRESENT: <br /> <br />Commissioners Conway, Dawson, Ireland, Kramer, Morrison, Neymark <br />and Chairman Silver <br /> <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />ALSO PRESENT: Helen Wiseman, Licensed Architect and Staff Liaison <br /> <br />Chairman Silver asked that the January 13, 2003 minutes be reviewed again for clarification and <br />corrections. <br />· Clarification of the last sentence on page 7 was made. It now reads: Commissioner Conway <br /> said the new home was referenced in the previous minutes as being 4200 square feet in the <br /> original plans. <br />· Page 1 typo - brakes should be breaks <br />· Page 3 - Commissioner Conway asked about the public notice process for an applicant for <br /> Historic Preservation. <br />· Page 3 next sentence. When the notice for a hearing is published, it will be distributed to <br /> the neighbors on a one-plus-one basis. <br />· Page 3 next sentence: Chairman Silver said that the survey procedures should be done next <br /> month. <br />· Page 5 - Commissioner Conway asked if the boundaries of the district had been determined. <br /> <br />Commissioner Morrison moved to accept the minutes of the January 13, 2003 HPC meeting as <br />corrected. Commissioner Conway seconded the motion. Upon voice vote, motion carried. <br /> <br />Commissioner Conway suggested that the January 27, 2003 minutes should be notated as <br />Reviewed and not as Approved since the meeting was not an official HPC meeting. <br /> <br />Chairman Silver asked for comments and corrections to the minutes of the February 10, 2003 <br />HPC meeting. <br />· Page 2 middle of 4th paragraph - Add: ... survey procedures, was reviewed at the December <br /> 9, 2002, HPC meeting. It was decided at the January 13, 2003 meeting to forward the <br /> CLG application to the Village Board without an additional review by the HPC. <br />· Page 2 last paragraph - Commissioner Conway's resume was an addition to the application <br /> packet that the Village Board saw. Commissioner Conway clarified that the Village Board <br /> did not see it, but the state did. <br />· Page 4, 2nd paragraph - Regarding the invitation or notice to the Park residents: Chairman <br /> Silver indicated that he believed everyone in the Park area received an invitation ...... <br />· Page 5, last paragraph should read: Ms. Wiseman referred to the March 25, 2002 minutes, <br /> which included the overview of the Survey Request for Proposal as Attachment A. <br /> Proposals from McClier, McGuire Igleski & Associates, and Historic Certification <br /> Consultants were included in the packet for the commissioners. <br /> <br /> <br />
