FINAL <br /> <br /> MINUTES <br />GLENVIEW HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION <br />February 9, 2004 <br /> <br />Call to Order by the Chairman <br />The February 9, 2004, meeting of the Glenview Historic Preservation Commission was <br />called to order by Chairman Silver at 7:33 p.m. in the Boardroom of the Village Hall. <br /> <br />Roll Call and Declaration of a Quorum <br />Roll call was taken, and Chairman Silver noted that a quorum was present. <br /> <br />PRESENT: <br /> <br />Commissioners Conway, Dawson, Kramer, Morrison and <br />Chairman Silver <br /> <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />ALSO PRESENT: Helen Wiseman, Licensed Architect and Staff Liaison <br /> <br />AUDIENCE: <br /> <br />Mr. Bob Quill, Glenview Park District <br />Mr. Tom Richardson, Executive Director, Glenview Park District <br />Ms. Mary Sacoff, Resident <br />Mr. Chris Warren, President, Glenview Park District <br /> <br />Approval of Minutes <br />Chairman Silver asked for corrections or comments to the December 8, 2003 minutes of the <br />Historic Preservation Commission meeting. The corrections are as follows: <br /> <br />· Page two, fourth paragraph, first sentence be changed to read, "Commissioner <br />Morrison suggested the nominators for the 1930 Prairie Street and Wagner Farm each <br />should receive their own individual letter referencing the action being taken." <br /> <br /> [Commissioner Morrison was curious as to why Chairman Silver had not yet seen <br />the actual nominations. Ms. Wiseman explained that the nomination submitted by the <br />Historic Preservation Commission and by C.O.W.S. have been on hold since before the <br />public notice meeting date, as directed by the Village Board.] <br /> <br />· Page three, paragraph seven, second sentence, "...the more likely they will be to <br />understand the Commission's perspective and to move forward ...". <br /> <br />· Page four, fourth paragraph, the last two sentences should be changed to "The <br />proposed ordinance represented having only the property owner apply in which case the <br />provision for an informational meeting should be omitted from the draft ordinance as an <br />amendment as discussed in the meeting with the Village attorney. If only the owner may <br />nominate, the preliminary meeting would not be needed." [These represent corrections to <br />the previously approved Final Minutes for December 8, 2003.] <br /> <br /> <br />
